Kampala – Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) announced the launch of the Coca-Cola 1 Litre PET bottle, expanding its portfolio with a shareable bottle designed for everyday occasions. The new pack is priced at UGX 2,500.

The 1L PET bottle offers a balance of quantity, affordability and convenience, making it ideal for families and friends to enjoy meals and moments together.

According to Emmy Hashakimana, Managing Director at CCBU, a company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, the new pack is a moderately sized, affordable option that offers value and convenience for shared moments that matter most.

“Innovation for us is about offering a range of drink choices for all lifestyles and occasions. The Coca-Cola 1L PET is an innovation built around a clear consumer need, where people want enough to share at a price that feels right.”

The resealable PET bottle means you can open, share and save for later. It is practical, economical and helps reduce the need to buy several smaller packs.

Mary Nassali, Commercial Excellence Director at CCBU, said the pack was developed to deliver everyday value without compromising on convenience.

“The 1L PET sits right at the intersection of affordability and value – easy to carry, enough to share, and priced for everyday purchase. That balance is what makes it meaningful.”

With the introduction of the 1L PET bottle, CCBU continues to evolve with its consumers by bringing thoughtful, relevant innovation to meet evolving needs.
