CCBU, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, will once again provide Rwenzori Pure Natural Mineral Water to all participants throughout the course.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that CCBU has partnered with the event, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to wellness and community initiatives.

“We are thrilled to once again be a part of this exciting event that showcases the beauty of the Rwenzori region,” said Kirunda Magoola, Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability Director at CCBU.

This year, CCBU is contributing UGX 173 million towards hydration efforts, ensuring runners remain refreshed and safe as they tackle the challenging yet scenic terrain.

Amos Wekesa, Team Lead at the Tusker Lite Mount Rwenzori Marathon, praised the partnership, saying: “CCBU’s continued support is truly commendable. Their commitment to providing water is invaluable to the success of the event.”

As preparations for the 2024 edition ramp up, the partnership between CCBU and the marathon continues to highlight the power of collaboration in promoting tourism, health, and sustainability in Uganda.
