Betika has announced a Shs100 million partnership with newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Ntugasaze FC, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the growth of Ugandan football.
The partnership was unveiled at Kira Road Police Grounds, the club’s home venue for the 2026/27 season.
The partnership will support Ntugasaze FC as it embarks on its historic debut season in the Uganda Premier League, with initiatives focused on player recognition, fan engagement, digital content creation and enhanced matchday experiences throughout the campaign.
Founded in 2018, Ntugasaze FC has enjoyed a remarkable rise through Uganda’s football pyramid, earning promotion after finishing second in the 2025/26 FUFA Big League with 53 points from 30 matches.
Betika selected Ntugasaze FC in recognition of the club’s rapid growth, ambitious leadership and strong commitment to building a competitive team with deep roots in its community.
“Ntugasaze is a young and ambitious club whose journey reflects what determination, good leadership and consistency can achieve,” said Desire Akanduhura, Marketing Lead at Betika Uganda.
“As the club begins its first season in the Uganda Premier League, we are proud to support its next chapter. Our partnership goes beyond brand visibility, we want to contribute meaningfully to the club’s long-term growth while creating memorable experiences for players and supporters alike.”
As part of the partnership, Betika will introduce a UGX 150,000 Player of the Match Award, recognizing outstanding individual performances after every league fixture throughout the season.
“Reaching the Uganda Premier League is the result of years of hard work, belief and commitment from everyone who has been part of Ntugasaze FC’s journey,” said Ogwang Bob Brian, Chief Executive Officer of Ntugasaze FC.
“Betika has recognized not only what we have achieved, but also where we are headed. Their support comes at a defining moment for the club as we begin our first season in Uganda’s top flight, and we look forward to building this journey together.”
The partnership forms part of Betika Uganda’s broader investment in Ugandan sport through initiatives that nurture talent, strengthen clubs and deepen the connection between teams, supporters and their communities.
