Benard Feni has been honoured with the prestigious CEO/Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Ghana Merit Awards 2026, held in Accra, Ghana. In an equally significant achievement, his philanthropic organisation, Mungu Feni Foundation, was recognised with the award for Best NGO/Foundation of the Year.
The double recognition for Feni is a powerful acknowledgement of a journey built around entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and a commitment to creating meaningful change in society.
The CEO/Entrepreneur of the Year award recognises Feni’s contribution to business and enterprise, as well as his ability to transform ideas and opportunities into ventures with broader economic and social value. His achievement reflects the qualities increasingly associated with successful African entrepreneurs: vision, resilience, strategic thinking and the courage to pursue ambitious goals.
The recognition places Feni among individuals whose work is attracting attention beyond their immediate environment and contributing to a broader African narrative of enterprise, leadership and service.
The Ghana Merit Awards 2026 recognition also comes at a time when African entrepreneurship is increasingly being defined by leaders who combine business ambition with purpose.
Feni noted that meaningful success is not built overnight. “It is developed through vision, consistency, the ability to overcome challenges and a willingness to use one’s influence to make a difference.”
