Ntungamo — All roads lead to Africa Coffee Park in Rwashamaire this Saturday, May 24, 2025, as the highly anticipated Coffee Marathon Concert kicks off in spectacular style, headlined by Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz and Uganda’s own Bebe Cool.
Organised by Inspire Africa Group and proudly sponsored by Equity Bank, the Coffee Marathon and Concert is more than a celebration—it’s a movement brewed with meaning, rhythm, and empowerment. Themed “Uplifting the rural coffee woman out of poverty,” the event brings together music, culture, and economic purpose.
Speaking ahead of the concert, music legend Bebe Cool said: “I’m happy to be part of the coffee promotion process.” “This is a national cause. When coffee does well, Uganda does well. I encourage every young person to be part of this movement.”

Bebe Cool also delivered a special shoutout to Ugandan baristas in the diaspora, urging them to return and support local coffee innovation:
“I spoke to Barista Timo in Dubai—he’s one of the best. I want him and every talented barista out there to come back home, join this movement, and raise the value of our coffee. Let’s take Uganda’s coffee to the world.”
Bebe Cool, who is accompanied by his wife Zuena Kirema, also gave a special shout-out to the man behind the vision, Nelson Tugume, CEO of Inspire Africa Group, and to barista leader Sueteno:

“Thank you, Mr. Sueteno, for your work on the Barista Coffee Project. It’s a pleasure to invite you to the Barista Shop and learn from your skills. We need more champions like you who are turning coffee into a lifestyle and a future for Uganda.”
The Coffee Marathon Concert, which follows the day-long marathon and Africa Business Forum attended by Presidents Yoweri Museveni and William Ruto, is set to draw thousands from across Uganda and the region.
Organisers say the concert will be a fusion of celebration and solidarity with rural coffee-growing communities. Entry will be UGX 30,000 (includes marathon kit + concert) and UGX 10,000 at the gate.

The full lineup includes: Diamond Platnumz, Bebe Cool, Eddy Kenzo, The Ben (Rwanda), Ray G, Truth256, DJ Alberto43, DJ Riddim Selekta, MC Lithan, MC Kunana, and MC Kacheche.
From beats to beans, this concert is brewing a new cultural tradition in Uganda. With Diamond Platnumz and Bebe Cool leading the charge, Ntungamo is about to make history—on stage and in the fields.
