All is set for Afrigo Band, one of Africa’s most popular and long-running bands to once again grace the stage at Troxy on September 15th at the Uganda UK Convention.

The good news is that Uganda’s fast rising musician, Fik Fameica of the ‘Kutama’ fame is the only artist at the moment lined up to share the stage with Afrigo band at the annual convention which brings together the Ugandan diaspora living in the UK.

His selection could be to the fact that he is rocking the space and this is not far from fact that Afrigo Band too sold out at the venue last year.

“Due to the huge demand from their loyal fan base, they will be returning in 2018 to bring the curtain down on a celebration of Ugandan culture,” read a note received from the event organiser.

Adding that, the story of Afrigo band is unparalleled in Ugandan music.

Formed in 1975, Afrigo band boast an incredible back catalogue of more than 200 songs spread over an incredible array of more than 22 albums.

This is what the UK audience is expected to get as the event climax’s come September.
