“Cabinet accordingly advised the Chief whip to advise the Member wishing to table the Private members’ bill to follow the established legislative procedure in accordance with the law,” Tumwebaze revealed.

Koboko Municipality Member of Parliament and also State Minister in charge of Privatisation, Evelyn Anite  was on Thursday quoted to have warned whoever was against the decision by the NRM caucus MPs to table a private members bill for ammending article 102 (b) of the Constitution not to  intimidate them .

“We don’t go looking for support. We are the party in government. We have support of the magye (army),” Anite said.
