With almost all venues in the city center exhausted by event organizers, a new concept of a night in the wild was born and hosted at Najjembe Camp Site.

To keep up with the cold breeze in the forest, a host of Deejays were lined up to treat revellers to a vibe of good music.

The third season of the Frosty Forest Party sponsored by Castle Lite required participants to book camping spots for those who wanted to spend a part of their weekend in the wild for a musical showcase.

In between the event was the usual delicious, Nyama Choma as the forest slowly turned out into a discotheque.

“It’s sometimes important to go party away in an extra ordinary environment, and going out of Kampala makes you discover more new and interesting places,” said one revellers in the crowd.

In trying to uplift talents, young emerging Uganda Deejays from across the region were given a platform by the organizers. Among the deejays that played was DJ Emma, DJ Kiko, Konk Mukiga, DJ Jermaine, DJ Mackus, DJ Andrey, DJ Virus and DJ Krystal who spinned the decks all through the night.

“We have learnt to give partygoers what they want and this is no longer deejay names but good music and a great ambiance,” the label Cofounder, Jagen, commented on the issue of rising deejays.

Jagen revealed that onwards, the Frost Forest Party will be held twice a year.
