With only days left until the Miss Uganda grand finale, Ugandans are yet to celebrate the new Miss Uganda queen who will be crowned this Saturday, October 10, at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala. The grand finale, powered by V&A, will see a new queen crowned at the same time the Miss Uganda Foundation will be celebrating 15 years of empowering young women.

“As V&A Sherry, we are always proud to be a part of platforms that empower women. Being a sorority that empowers one another, we are proud of all the young women who had the ambition and the confidence to dream beyond boundaries and participate in this year’s pageant. May the best girl win because, as V&A, we are rooting for you all. Give the grand finale your best,” said Roy Ronald Tumwizere, Brand Manager for V&A Sherry at Uganda Breweries Limited.

The journey that began on June 18 comes to an end after a series of regional tours, an intense boot camp, presentations, talent and top model nights where Ugandans were given an opportunity not only to follow the journey but also to vote for their favourite contestants for a spot in the top five.

This Saturday, 22 finalists will put everything on the line as they compete to become the next Miss Uganda. Throughout the competition, contestants have been trained on matters such as leadership, building confidence, advocacy, and personal development, reflecting Miss Uganda’s mantra of Beauty with a Purpose.

Whoever is crowned on Saturday will also represent Uganda at the Miss World competition, carrying the country’s culture, aspirations and identity onto one of the world’s biggest stages.

Beyond the glamour and elegance of the evening, the grand finale will celebrate a new generation of Ugandan women who are redefining leadership, resilience and self-belief. It is these qualities that have transformed the competition into a platform that empowers women to use their voices, embrace their individuality and create meaningful impact in their communities.

As anticipation builds, the stage is set for an unforgettable evening celebrating beauty with purpose, leadership and the limitless potential of Ugandan young women.

The Miss Uganda 2026 Grand Finale takes place on Saturday, October 10, from 6:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. Tickets are available via Pinnket, or one can purchase some via USSD by dialling *217*413#, selecting option 2 and event ID 2533.  Early bird tickets are priced at Shs 70k; regular tickets are priced at Shs 100k; VIP tickets at Shs 3M; and VVIP at Shs 4M.
