Temi Nkem has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, “Show Ya Sef,” following 10 weeks of competition, challenges, twists, and memorable moments that kept viewers across Nigeria and Africa engaged throughout the season.
With 25.87% of the total votes, Temi emerged at the top of the final standings, securing her place in Big Brother Naija history as the show’s fifth female winner. Aikou finished as first runner-up with 23.68%, while Sheba emerged second runner-up with 9.80% of the total votes.
As the Season 11 winner, Temi takes home 90 million naira in cash and a brand-new SUV, with 10 million naira from the original 100 million naira cash prize allocated to the Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) prize fund.
The finale marked the culmination of a competitive season that saw 24 housemates enter the Big Brother house and navigate weekly tasks, Head of House games, nominations and a series of twists designed to test their strategy, adaptability and relationships in the game.
Among the season’s notable firsts and defining moments were the introduction of the Gambit play and changing Head of House veto powers each week. Season 11 also made history with two disqualifications and a voluntary exit occurring within the same season, the first time all three events have happened in the show’s history. Commenting on the conclusion of the season, Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice Nigeria, said:
“Season 11 has been another exciting chapter for Big Brother Naija. We saw 24 housemates bring their personalities, perspectives and individual approaches to the game, and we are pleased to have shared their journey with our viewers. We thank everyone who watched, voted and joined the conversation throughout the season, as well as our sponsors and partners for their continued support.”
Beyond the competition itself, Season 11 once again demonstrated Big Brother Naija’s ability to spark conversations and provide a platform for new personalities to connect with audiences across the continent. Over the years, the franchise has introduced personalities who have gone on to build careers across entertainment, media, fashion, music, film and beyond.
With Temi Nkem now joining the ranks of the show’s winners, Season 11 closes another chapter in the Big Brother Naija story—one shaped by competition, personality, strategy, and the continued participation of its audiences.
