Kampala is set to raise a glass to one of its most exciting nightlife experiences as ‘Useless Mondays’ marks its first anniversary in true Don Julio style.
The weekly theme night, hosted by DJ Dash, has steadily carved out a niche for itself, redefining how the city unwinds at the start of the week. What began as an unconventional Monday escape has grown into one of Kampala’s most sought-after nightlife experiences. Tonight, the celebration heads to Mezo Noir, with premium tequila brand Don Julio at the heart of the festivities.
Renowned for its premium tequila portfolio, Don Julio will elevate the night with its signature serves, from the crisp, citrus-forward Blanco to the iconic 1942, perfectly complementing the high-energy atmosphere that ‘Useless Mondays’ is known for.
Speaking ahead of the celebration, Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager, Tequila and Rum East Africa, described the partnership as a natural fit.
“The Useless Mondays anniversary celebration is definitely going to be lit. We are proud to have been part of Mezo Noir’s journey in curating this experience. Gates open at 7 pm, with the party expected to carry on into the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The night will feature an electrifying DJ lineup led by Don Julio 1942 influencer DJ Spinny, alongside host and brand ambassador DJ Dash. The lineup also includes Kash Pro, City Girl, Kwesta 43, DJ Scarz, and Edwizzy Selekta. Fans can also look forward to one of the signature back-to-back sets from Spinny and Dash.
With tomorrow being a public holiday, Kampala’s party lovers have every reason to turn up and enjoy the night without worrying about an early start the next day.
