ENTEBBE — President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Monday hosted a luncheon in honour of the outgoing Cabinet at State House Entebbe, commending ministers for their service and contribution to the country’s development.
During the event, President Museveni applauded the team for what he described as a historic role in advancing Uganda’s socio-economic transformation, including progress toward middle-income status.
The President also acknowledged the Cabinet’s role in the recent electoral process, describing the outcome as a shared achievement and expressing confidence in sustained economic growth in the next term.
At the same time, President Museveni emphasised the importance of ethical leadership in public service, urging leaders to uphold integrity, accountability, and patriotism.
The luncheon marked a moment of reflection for the outgoing Cabinet, as the government prepares for the next phase of leadership and policy implementation.
