She Cranes Qualify for Netball World Cup 2027

Uganda’s national netball team, the She Cranes, has secured automatic qualification for the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney, Australia, following their historic performance at the 2023 edition.

The She Cranes achieved their best-ever finish at the previous World Cup, ending the tournament in fifth place, and are now set to build on that success in the upcoming competition.

From South Africa to Australia

South Africa, which hosted the first-ever Netball World Cup on the African continent in 2023, also qualified for the 2027 edition, handing over the hosting responsibilities to Australia.

The SPAR Proteas of South Africa are the fifth team to secure a place at the Sydney tournament, joining other automatic qualifiers.
