The October edition of Silo Daycation brought laughter and satisfaction to the glass walls of Silo 15, as the city’s brunch enthusiasts gathered for what has become Kampala’s most stylish daytime escape.
The Silo Daycation, now in its second year, is a unique brunch experience that combines rhythm, flavor, and refinement under one roof.
Don Julio tequila was once again at the heart of the October edition, bringing together the familiar trio of fine dining, smooth beats, and handcrafted tequila experiences that have redefined Kampala’s luxury leisure culture.
As guests arrived on the blue carpet entrance, they were greeted with an effortless blend of sophistication and ease.
Platters of ceviche and tequila-infused starters hinted at the culinary playfulness to come, followed by plates of roasted and stir-fried beef, chicken, pork, and goat, accompanied by dainty desserts that kept diners asking for more.
Don Julio’s luxury tequila was the perfect accompaniment, bringing a smoky twist that transformed every sip into a moment of indulgence. Guests savored the tequila, from the crisp purity of Don Julio Blanco to the deep warmth of the Añejo, and signature cocktails like the Margarita and Paloma.
“This October edition of the Silo Daycation Brunch has truly been exceptional. It’s a great way for our consumers to close the month,” said Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager Tequila and Rum East Africa at UBL. “We’re delighted that despite the rain, our patrons turned up to embrace the moment. We’re excited to continue this journey with our consumers and promise to keep delivering the best experiences.”
As the afternoon slipped into golden hour, the music took center stage, transforming the lounge into a musical planet of its own.
The evening’s lineup featured soulful sets from Carsten DJ, DJ Anslem’s R&B, Crysto the DJ’s Hip-hop, and headlining DJ Lil Stunner aka Sheila Gashumba, whose Amapiano set turned the brunch into a dance floor. The Silo Daycation was, without a doubt, a statement of taste.
