The road to the final saw 52 clans battle through eliminations, with the top 16 advancing into four competitive groups before reaching the knockout stages. Ngabi Nsamba booked their spot in the final after a tense semifinal penalty victory over Kkobe, while Ndiga edged out Nsenene in a similar fashion.

Ndiga settled for silver and Ushs. 7 million, while Nsenene secured third place with a narrow 1-0 win over Kkobe, earning Ushs. 3 million.

Airtel Uganda’s Sales Director, Mr Ali Balunywa, applauded the champions and praised the cultural significance of the event: “Congratulations to Ngabi Nsamba for their well-deserved victory. The BIKA Tournament has once again shown the unifying power of sport and culture. Airtel is proud to support this platform that celebrates Buganda’s heritage and fosters youth talent.”

Buganda’s Premier, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga, who graced the event, lauded the sportsmanship displayed and called on the youth to embrace purposeful living: “The BIKA Tournament is more than football—it is a vessel of our heritage, unity, and discipline. I commend Ngabi Nsamba and all participating clans. Let our young people draw inspiration from this and shun destructive habits. Let them build their futures with intent.”
