Namugongo – In an era where digital devices dominate and the pressures of modern life pull people apart, the value of real human connection has never been more critical.
For the alumni of Vienna College Namugongo, that connection will be rekindled on Saturday, 21st June 2025, during a special Alumni Networking Dinner at the school campus, as the institution marks 25 years since its founding.
Held under the theme “The School That Shaped Us!”, the event aims to celebrate the strong sense of community built over the years and reignite bonds formed during school life.
The dinner is expected to draw former students from across different cohorts for an evening of reflection, reconnection, and renewed collaboration.
Set to run from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the black-tie event will feature a rich program designed to foster meaningful conversations and networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
Organisers say the evening presents an opportunity to not only celebrate the past but also build a future network of mutual support and shared purpose.
“There’s something powerful about gathering with people who share your background,” said Isaiah Daniel Juuko, President of the Vienna College Alumni Association.

He added: “Unlike traditional networking events where one is often on edge, alumni gatherings are rooted in shared memories, language, and values—making them fertile ground for building lasting professional and personal connections.”
Juuko added that in today’s fast-moving world, the importance of community cannot be overstated. “We long for real conversations, for a space to be seen and supported. This dinner offers just that—a place to reignite forgotten passions, share experiences, and navigate life together.”
The entry fee for the event is UGX 250,000, payable via Flexi Pay Code 602275. Alumni also have the option of booking an entire table at UGX 2.5 million, making it a perfect setting for group reunions.
The event is sponsored by Nile Valley Communications, Stanbic Bank, Kibona Safaris, and Brovad Sands Lodge – Ssese Islands.
