Winnie Nwagi Fires Up Kwegoza Avenue as Pilsener Celebrates Culture

Pilsner Lager a brand of the Uganda Breweries Limited joined the Kwegoza Avenue, a vibrate celebration of the Bunyoro and Tooro Culture at the UMA ground Lugogo.

This year Pilsner Lager joined the celebrations with great excitement by setting up an immersive cultural village that become a highlight of the event

The event was bussing with great energy as attendees explored the Pilsner Lager Cultural Village.

Designed to showcase the rich traditions and customs of the Bunyoro and Tooro communities, the village offered a variety of engaging activities. 

Visitors enjoyed traditional music and dance performances, tried their hand at local crafts as they took photos. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the sounds of drumming, singing, and laughter.

According to Edgar Kihumuro the Pilsner Lager Brand Manager, Pilsner Lager is honoured to be part of the Kwegoza Avenue, celebrating the rich heritage of the Bunyoro and Tooro cultures.

“Our cultural village was designed to bring people together, allowing them to experience and appreciate the traditions that make our country unique. We are committed to supporting and preserving Uganda’s cultural legacy through events like this.” He stated.

As the sun began to set, the stage was set for an unforgettable performance by there own Douglas Byaruhanda aka Big Doug, Ruyonga and the sensational Winnie Nwagi. 

Her energetic show fired up the crowd, blending modern beats with traditional rhythms, and getting everyone on their feet.

It was a day of unity, celebration and pride, perfectly representing the spirit of Kwegonza Avenue.
