Vivo Energy Uganda has successfully concluded its ‘Simbula ne Rimula R3X’ campaign, rewarding two lucky customers with brand-new Mitsubishi Canter trucks. The campaign, which was launched in October 2024, aimed to promote the benefits of Shell Rimula R3X lubricant to customers across Uganda.

The campaign finale took place at Shell Kawempe, where the two winners were announced.

The Shell Rimula R3X lubricant, a triple-action heavy-duty diesel engine oil, provides superior engine protection under severe conditions, improves fuel economy, and extends mileage.

Rebecca Nassiwa, Lubricants Brand Manager for Vivo Energy Uganda, noted that over 5,000 customers participated in the campaign, with more than 3,000 winning prizes such as full tanks of fuel, airtime, branded merchandise, and more.

“The feedback on Shell Rimula R3X has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re thrilled to see its impact on commercial transport operators and individual vehicle owners,” she said.

Francis Kayoki, Lubricants Sales Manager for Vivo Energy Uganda, revealed that the two winners were from Shell Katwe station and a reseller outlet in Mbarara.

“These trucks will empower them to take their businesses to the next level, and this initiative is our way of giving back to the hardworking community that keeps Uganda moving forward,” he said.

Joanita Menya Mukasa, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Uganda, emphasized the company’s commitment to helping customers transition to a lubricant that meets UNBS standards and enhances vehicle performance.

“Shell Rimula R3X delivers superior protection and improved fuel economy, ensuring engines run stronger for longer. This results in greater efficiency and increased earnings for our commercial transport customers in their day-to-day operations,” she said.
