Vipers FC VS SC Constantine
Vipers SC tactician, Martinez Espinoza has says his side is determined to win against Algeria’s CS Constantine in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) game tomorrow.
He was addressing Journalists on Friday morning, in a press conference held at St Mary’s stadium Kitende.
“We have an important match but we know that tomorrow it is either victory or we are out of the championship. I am confident we shall do it,” he said, adding that he is confident about getting a positive result tomorrow.
The Ugandan Champions lost 1-0 to the North Africans in the first leg last week, played at Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Algeria.
But, Coach Espinoza believes they can overturn the defeat and grace the group stages of this year’s Africa’s top most club tournament.
“We had a very excellent result and have a clear opportunity to have the advantage here. Constantine will aggressive to win, but I also trust my team, we shall go for victory,” he added.
Vipers need a 2 goals margin to triumph past the visitors and become Uganda’s second football club to play at the group stages CAF club championship. KCCA FC made it last year.
Captain Taddeo Lwanga who didn’t play in Algeria because of being suspended and defender Geoffrey Wasswa who had an injury are back and expected to feature in tomorrow’s game.
