Vinka Drops New Dancehall Banger ‘Sirubala’

Ugandan music sensation Vinka is back with yet another hit, “SIRUBALA,” a high-energy dancehall track that showcases her signature sound and unmatched consistency.

The song, written by Yese Oman Rafiki and produced by Bangar Boi, tells the story of a woman deeply in love, dreaming about a man she cannot go a day without seeing.

With Marvin Musoke directing the visuals and Steve Keys handling the mixing and mastering, this release is set to dominate the airwaves across East Africa and beyond.

A New Hit Following a Major Milestone

This release comes hot on the heels of the highly successful Swangz All-Star Album, a groundbreaking project featuring some of Uganda’s biggest music stars, including Vinka.

The album, launched in November 2024, solidified Swangz Avenue’s position as a powerhouse in the East African music scene. Vinka’s contributions to tracks like “Amin Dada” and “Wedding” were among the standout performances that resonated with fans across the region.

Vinka: A Trailblazer in East African Music

Vinka has cemented her place as one of Uganda’s most consistent and successful female artists over the past four years, dropping back-to-back hits like “Bailando,” “All Over You,” “Thank God,” “Batuleke,” and “Chekecha.”

Her versatility, energetic performances, and unique blend of Afropop and dancehall have set her apart, making her one of the most sought-after artists in the region.

Her journey from a backup dancer to an artist manager to a globally recognised musician is nothing short of inspiring. After signing with Sony Music Entertainment in 2019, Vinka expanded her reach internationally, collaborating with artists like Inna on the song “Bebe.”

In October 2023, she was named a Spotify EQUAL Africa Ambassador, further solidifying her influence as a female artist pushing boundaries in the African music industry.
