Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesperson, confirmed the incident.

Residents say the bodyguard complained of non-payment for months.

He shot his boss and later shot himself dead.

“We have come to learn of the unfortunate incident at Kyanja Ring Road which led to the demise of Hon Rtd Col Charles Okello Engola this morning,” said Defence Spokesperson, Brig Gen Felix Kulayigye.

He added: “We shall inform the public of the details as we jointly investigate the matter.”
