The chopper was recovered by Uganda People’s Defence Air Force (UPDAF) from an elderly woman’s house near Saaka Airfield where it made an emergency landing over the weekend.

She has since been identified as Peruth Kabarwani.

According to UPDF Mountain division spokesperson, Maj Peter Mugisa, UPDF construction engineers will help repair the damaged house.
