Ugandan’s rising pop star Kanaabi Rodricl alias Kapa Boy has released a collaboration with Nigeria’s Jerry Logo dubbed ‘Talk To Me’ which will undoubtedly earn spots on playlists nationwide.
The versatile singer relies on modish Afro sound, mid-tempo drum syncopations, and heavy bass influences caressed by his melodic vocals to score deserved points.
Coming out as one of Uganda’s most fresh and exciting names is Kapa Boy, the 18-year-old Afro-fusion artist who has turned the heads of many across the globe.
Reputable for his feel-good and up-beat sound, Kapa Boy’s butter-like tone, candid lyricism, and infectious melodies have paved a way for an original contemporary spin on his East-African root.

The song opens with a tense exchange in which “he asks a lady to give him time to talk to her” in a romantic way.
Kapa Boy says he loved the way he teamed up with a Nigerian singer to come out with such a massive single.
“It’s the music, everyone’s just connecting with the music. And that’s the most important thing about music, it’s not really about understanding exactly what’s being said, but the feeling it gives you. When you appreciate the feeling, you will at least, learn to pronounce the words.”
