Natuhwera is remembered for her remarkable role in the award winning film ‘Wako’ which she produced and was directed by Zziwa Aaron.

“Brighton has done alot of work in the movies industry. We remember her as part of the team that saw the creation of Uganda Film Festival in 2013,” said Kasule Douglas Benda of Benda Bookings who also doubles as the Acting Chairperson, Uganda Actors National Guild (UGANG).

According to Benda, besides her acting role, Natuhwera has been part of his humanitarian team that helped charities in the villages of Mbiko and many other places.

A tentative schedule indicates that there will be a Requiem service at All Saints Church, Nakasero for prayers on Thursday at 3pm.

There after, the body will be taken to National Theatre for friends and family to pay their last respects.

She will be laid to rest at her ancestral home in Bushenyi district on Saturday.

Benda urged Uganda arts lovers to come in big numbers to give the final standing ovation to the deceased as she takes a bow from her amazing contributions to the film fraternity.

May her should rest in peace.
