Uganda’s Defence attaché in DR Congo, Brig Gen Taban Geoffrey Kyabihende, has passed away.
Brig Gen Taban succumbed to cancer at Nakasero hospital where he has been admitted since last week.
He was the Deputy Commander of the 3rd Battalion that captured Kampala in 1986.
He hails from Kazo county Kiruhura district in Western Uganda.
