The Uganda Digital Society (UDS) has entered a strategic partnership with Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, South Africa’s top-ranked creative institution, to scale up digital skills training in Uganda.
The deal grants Ugandan professionals and corporate members of UDS access to world-class online courses at discounted rates, including Red & Yellow’s fast-growing portfolio of AI micro courses and short programs. Individual UDS members will receive 20% off, while members of partner societies will be eligible for 10% discounts.
“This partnership is a landmark achievement for the Uganda Digital Society and a significant step toward realizing our vision of a digitally empowered nation,” said UDS President John Ssenkeezi. “We are paving a direct path for Ugandan professionals to gain the critical skills needed to compete on the international stage.”
The partnership comes as Uganda prioritizes digital literacy to enhance workforce competitiveness in the global economy. UDS will market and promote selected courses locally, with offerings covering digital marketing, content and copywriting, user experience design, front-end web development, and specialized AI programs such as AI for Digital Copywriting, AI for Designers, and Prompt Engineering.
“These courses are practical, short, and transformative, designed to equip professionals with the business and creative skills they need to thrive in the future world of work,” said Andrew Allison, chief commercial officer of Red & Yellow.
Red & Yellow, established more than 30 years ago, is ranked the No. 1 Creative School in Africa and the Middle East. The collaboration with UDS marks a significant step in its global expansion strategy.
Applicants seeking the discounted rates must provide proof of UDS membership, either as individuals or as employees of a corporate or agency member.
