Jenifer Bamuturaki, the Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Airlines, has won the Africa Travel and Tourism 100 Award in Lagos, Nigeria.
The coveted Africa Travel and Tourism 100 Award, recognises exceptional women in the travel and tourism sector.
Bamuturaki was nominated alongside other women in East and Southern Africa and emerged among the winners.
She thanked the organisers for the recognition and dedicated the award to Ugandan women who never give up pushing forward and striving against all odds.
The Africa Travel 100 women Awards which was held at Eko Hotels and Suites also had in attendance no fewer than 100 travel professionals from different Countries in Africa.
This included African Women from 20 countries who have excelled in areas such as Tourism Leadership, Travel and Tours, Hospitality, Conservation, and Media.
