“We are pleased to announce that we have registered a total of 114,954 candidates to sit for the Nov/Dec 2024 examinations,” said Oyesigye. “Of these candidates, 43,890 are female and 71,064 are male.”

The Board has also made efforts to enhance inclusive education, registering 173 candidates with special needs pursuing various TVET professions.  He noted that the candidates will be accorded support to sit for the examination, including sign language interpreters, transcribers, and guides.

To ensure the smooth conduct of examinations, the Board has conducted briefings for Area Coordinators, Centre Supervisors, and candidates. Oyesigye noted that the Board has also deployed over 100 support personnel to assist candidates with special needs.

“We are committed to ensuring that all candidates have a fair and equal opportunity to sit for the examinations,” said Oyesigye. “We appeal to all candidates to adhere to the rules and regulations of the examinations and avoid any form of malpractice.”

The examinations are scheduled to take place from November 22 to December 20, 2024 at 663 examination centres across the country.

The Board has also warned candidates against involvement in any form of examination malpractices, which can lead to severe penalties, including cancellation of results and imprisonment.
