UBTEB Announces Dates for November-December TVET Assessment & Examinations

Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) has registered a smooth start of the July/August 2024 assessment and examinations on August 5, 2024 across 454 examination centres. 

The examinations shall end on August 30, 2024. A total of 58,995 candidates registered for the July-August 2024 examinations series. Of these candidates, 18,742 are female and 40,253 are male.

“We are glad to have registered a smooth start of the examinations today at all examinations centres across the country. We thank the security personnel especially the Uganda Police for providing secure storage and delivery of all examinations.” Onesmus Oyesigye, Executive Secretary stated. 

He revealed that most candidates have sat for National Certificate-Technical programmes like National Certificate in Wood work Technology, Building construction, Plumbing, welding and fabrication, Information Technology among others.

Oyesigye called upon all stakeholders to observe all Rules on the conduct of examinations and avoid any form of malpractices. 

“The Board maintains a strong warning to all Heads of Centres and candidates to desist from any form of examinations related malpractices” he stated.
