The accused officials allegedly gave away 13 hectares of Ibanda Forest Reserve to Rukokoma Mixed Farmers’ Cooperative Society without first obtaining the de-gazettement of the reserve.

The unit arrested them on Wednesday while reporting on police bond.

Anti-Corruption Court Grade One Magistrate, Sarah Asiimwe, remanded Matsiko to Luzira prison until October 12, 2022.

The magistrate, however, granted Nuwagira a cash bail of Shs5m and bonded his sureties Shs25m, not cash.
