CFAO Mobility Uganda has announced the return of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, inviting young Ugandans aged 15 and under to envision the future of mobility through art.
Launched in 2004, the contest has received over 9.4 million entries from 144 countries and regions. Toyota’s mission is to “Produce Happiness for All” by fostering creativity and innovation.
In the 17th edition, 712,845 entries were received globally, with over 500 submissions from Uganda.
Notable global winners include; Daniela Smausova (Czech Republic) for “Our Flying Car” (age 7 and under), Warisara Samrit (Thailand) for “Lunch Car for Children” (age 8-11), Damion Deven (Indonesia) for “P3truck” (age 12-15).
The contest will comprise National and World Contests. Submissions for the Uganda national contest open on November 11, 2024, and close on February 21, 2025.
– National contest winners will get school fees and representation in the World Contest, World Contest winners will take home USD 5,000 (individual) and USD 10,000 (school), for Best finalists they will take USD 3,000 each.

The contest is open to Ugandan children aged 15 and under, divided into three categories, Age 7 and under Age 8-11, Age 12-15.
