Following a successful inaugural Timeless Frames photo exhibition, Derrick Ssenyonyi, an award- winning travel visual artist, storyteller, and wildlife enthusiast has announced a month long photo exhibition at the Summit Residence, Naguru.
The extended edition of the exhibition, will run from October 4 to October 31, 2024,, with a deeper focus on mentorship and sustainability.
This phase is dedicated to mentoring and coaching young, aspiring content creators.
Throughout October, local and international experts will lead workshops and sessions, sharing valuable insights and skills to empower Uganda’s next generation of creative talents.
According to Ssenyonyi, the ultimate goal is to ensure the sustainability of high- quality content creation in Uganda while fostering career growth for emerging creators.
“A key pillar of the Timeless Frames initiative is its commitment to sustainability. By providing mentorship and fostering skill development, Timeless Frames aims to give back to the community and nurture new talent in the content creation industry. The Extended Edition will serve as a platform for young creators to learn, grow, and gain the tools necessary to succeed,” he said.
He added that the inclusion of international content creators in the initiative highlights the value of cross-cultural collaboration. “Through these global partnerships, Timeless Frames seeks to elevate content creation standards in Uganda and encourage an ongoing exchange of creative ideas.”
Ssenyonyi explained that the model is designed to create a lasting impact within the industry while promoting Uganda’s rich cultural and natural heritage to a broader audience.
The Timeless Frames (Extended Edition) exhibition is open to the public throughout October and offers a unique opportunity to engage with Uganda’s beauty and culture while supporting the development of future content creators.
