Senior Commissioner of Police (SCP) Fred Enanga has been appointed as Deputy Director of Interpol and International Relations.
He will be replaced by ACP Rusoke Kituuma as the new Police Spokesman.
“Congratulations to comrade Fred Enanga upon your elevation to the position of Deputy Director INTERPOL and International Relations of the Uganda Police Force,” said AIGP Christopher Damulira, Director of Crime Intelligence, in a short message on X.
He added: “I also congratulate all the other officers who have been appointed to various positions. Best wishes.”
The reshuffle comes two days after President Museveni met the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Abbas Byakagaba.
Senior Commissioner of Police (SCP) Fred Enanga has served as the Police Spokesperson for nearly seven years.
He will deputize Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Grace Akullo.
