President Museveni has appointed Sandor Walusimbi as the new senior press secretary.

Sandor is a corporate communications and marketing consultant with experience that spans more than two decades.

He replaces Lindah Nabusayi who has held the position for one year.

Sandor previously served as the head of communication at State House Anti-corruption Unit.

Prior, he served as the head of marketing and communications at Umeme Uganda Limited between 2016 and 2019.

He has served as the head of corporate relations at Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) but also as Marketing Manager for East African Breweries Limited (EABL).

Having  joined EABL in 1995 as a brand promoter and was promoted to brand manager, innovations and commercialization manager, senior brand manager and marketing manager.

He has also previously served as the Airtel Uganda Public Relations Manager.

He is a member of the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU).

Sandor holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of East London.
