Sad News: URSB Official Paul Magera Dies in Tirinyi Road Accident

Paul Nathan Magera, the Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit at Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB), was Monday morning killed in a tragic motor accident at Busembatya along Tirinyi Road.

According to eyewitnesses, another unidentified person who was traveling with Magera in the Toyota Prado Registration Number UAL 334 J also died on the spot.

The vehicle is said to have been involved in a head-on collision with a truck carrying sugarcane.

“With great sorrow, we announce the untimely passing of Mr. Paul Nathan Magera, Head of the Procurement and Disposal Unit which occurred this morning. Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course,” URSB said in a statement.

According to URSB, there will be a vigil today at the deceased’s home in Najjera 2.
