Emphasising convenience and innovation, the product is 100% digital, allowing members to register, purchase, and file claims seamlessly via self-service platforms: Dial *228# or WhatsApp: 0709 460 552 or Online: via a secure web portal.

The launch also signifies the beginning of a broader partnership between Old Mutual and Rotary Uganda. In addition to the Group Funeral Cover, Old Mutual will support Rotary-led initiatives such as the Rotary Cancer Run, financial literacy programs, basic education projects, and tree planting campaigns, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable community impact.

“We’re not just offering a product—we’re building a movement of protection and purpose,” said Patrick Kimathi, Managing Director, Old Mutual Life Assurance Uganda. “Rotary’s mission aligns with our sustainability vision of protecting people and the planet while fostering prosperity.”

Anne Nkutu, District Governor for Rotary District 9213, echoed the significance of the partnership: “Rotary’s values of service and community are reflected in this collaboration.

The Group Funeral Cover gives our members a dignified, practical solution that strengthens solidarity and care within the Rotary family.”

Together, Rotary Uganda’s trusted network and Old Mutual’s insurance expertise and digital innovation are redefining how Rotarians access protection, convenience, and community support across Uganda.
