As part of the joint initiative, American Hospital Dubai has unveiled plans to open three medical tourism representative offices in Uganda in 2024, with a broader expansion strategy encompassing 30 offices across crucial African and Eastern European locations.
This strategic move aligns with the UAE’s vision to establish itself as a global medical tourism hub.
RivExcel will utilize its extensive network throughout Africa to establish and manage Representative Offices, beginning with the inaugural office in Lagos, Uganda.
The move aims to bring world-class healthcare services closer to the African population. The collaboration plans to establish over 30 offices in major African countries, serving as hubs for disseminating American Hospital Dubai’s renowned healthcare services and fostering stronger connections between the hospital and diverse communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Future plans include the establishment of another Representative Office in Abuja, further solidifying the commitment to reach various regions within Africa and facilitating greater access to premium healthcare services.
