Real Estate developers have been advised to be innovative so as to survive economic hardships that have befallen the country due to the existing COVID-19 pandemic.
This was during the launch of the first ever online real estate map and directory designed by the Real Muloodi Uganda’s commercial real estate data resource centre.
Real Muloodi Director Client Relations, Hussein Sekinalya noted that just like any other sector in the economy, the Real estate is going through hard times which requires innovative ideas by stakeholders to reach their and effectively serve their clients.
Sekinalya said that the directory is aimed at assisting their clients in identifying and communicating with real estate agents and brokers, construction specialists, surveyors, property managers, interior designers, property lawyers, accountants, bankers, insurance companies among others.
Sekinalya noted that the requested information is displayed on a map and as a listing on an interactive page on the Real Muloodi website.
“This is Uganda’s first and only visual directory of businesses that serve the real estate sector. We help clients find exactly what business or specialty they are looking for in their local area, Sekinalya said.
Sekinalya observed that over all, Real Estate is an integral part of the Uganda’s economy which contributes heavily to the country’s Growth Domestic Product (GDP).
“The Real Estate Industry Map and Directory will help the real estate industry and associated players get back on their feet. This industry-specific directory allows players to boost their businesses while enabling clients to connect with local industry specialists to help them achieve their real estate goals,” He added.
