Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) has unveiled its new Chief Programs and Project Officer, Damali Ssali.
“We are pleased to inform you that Damali Ssali joined PSFU on 4th April 2022 as the Chief Programs and Projects Officer. We are delighted to have her join the team,” PSFU said on Monday.
Damali joins PSFU with a wealth of experience, her career spanning over 20 years with 15 years in senior management roles.
She will be responsible for identifying and designing new programs and projects, fundraising, program and project management, measurement and tracking the results and outcomes.
Damali worked with Trademark East Africa (TMEA) where she led the development of strategies, concepts and project proposals aligned to donor partner requirements to implement the TMEA Uganda and South Sudan country programs with a portfolio of over $150m.
Prior, she worked in the United Kingdom with one of the world’s largest hedge funds as a Finance Director with a portfolio of over $3bn.
Damali is an alumna of Harvard business school where she specialized in Executive Leadership, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and an alumna of the Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France where she attained an MBA with a specialization in innovation and technology.
