A prominent businessman in Masaka district has been found dead in a hotel room.
The body of Mzee Tanansi Bazeketta, the owner of Maria Flo Hotel, was discovered in his bed at the hotel Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Ivan Nakibinge, a family member and manager of the hotel, told Daily Monitor that he found Mzee Tanansi lying dead in his bed this morning.
Reports said the businessman was suffering from heart-related complications.
According to those who knew him, Mzee Tanansi was “a very strong pillar in Masaka region”.
