He shot dead NO. 19109 Wardress Adong Margadalen, 24, of Prisons Academy and Training School, Luzira before shooting himself dead.

Baine noted that the incident happened on Monday 13 at around 7:55 PM while Chemutai was deployed on sentry at the South East perimeter Fence of the Prison.

“It’s believed that Adong of PATS was a girlfriend and had visited him since Saturday. The sound of the gun raised the concern of the O.C and staff to mount an operation that led to the discovery of the bodies and the gun.”
