As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering prosperity for Ugandans, PostBank Uganda has extended a gesture of goodwill to Teresa Ministries in the lead-up to the Easter holiday—a season symbolizing renewal, hope, and the unifying spirit of Christ’s resurrection.
Teresa Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing shelter, care, and holistic support to vulnerable children, especially those affected by HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty in surrounding communities.
Speaking during the outreach, PostBank Uganda’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Ms. Priscilla Akora, commended the organization for its outstanding efforts in nurturing abandoned and disadvantaged children.
“Children are the foundation of any society, and the work being done by Teresa Ministries is a powerful expression of faith, love, and community,” said Ms. Akora. “At PostBank, we are proud to contribute to initiatives that align with our values and positively impact the lives of those most in need.”
Ms. Akora emphasized that the outreach forms part of the bank’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, particularly under its humanitarian support pillar.

“Our presence here today reflects our commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities,” she noted. “We encourage others to join in supporting this noble cause so that every child can have access to a healthier, more dignified life.”
To support the ministry’s work, PostBank Uganda donated essential items, including foodstuffs and child care necessities such as baby formula, diapers, milk, sugar, porridge, soap, and rice.
Father Raymond, Patron and Founder of Teresa Ministries, received the donation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the bank for its timely and compassionate support during the Easter season.
“These supplies will greatly enhance our ability to care for the children under our protection. We are sincerely thankful to PostBank for their generosity and continued support,” he said.
In her closing remarks, Ms. Akora reaffirmed PostBank’s dedication to community development, particularly in areas where the bank operates.
“As we approach Easter, we reflect on the values of compassion, giving, and togetherness. We wish all Christians a blessed and meaningful conclusion to the Lenten season,” she added.
