Police cries for Bobi Wine support against crimes

The Uganda Police has called upon the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament elect Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine to help in the fight against crimes in the area.

Speaking to Journalists earlier today, the Police spokesperson AIGP Asan Kasingye added that Bobi Wine is so influential to the youth who are mainly implicated in crimes.

He added that there is need to introduce community policing in the area something that needs local leader’s intervention and therefore if he gets involved in the fight, there is a great step that will be achieved.

He however revealed that during the hotly contested Kyadondo By election, only 27 were arrested and to they will appear before the courts of Law and he is optimistic some will be freed on police bond in the evening.

One of the challenges faced by the Uganda Police is the fight against crimes in and around Kampala.
