Pictorial: Rwanda President Paul Kagame Arrives in Uganda

The President of Rwanda, H.E. Paul Kagame, has this Sunday afternoon arrived in Uganda.

H.E. Kagame who served in Uganda’s National Resistance Army (NRA) before leading a struggle that ended the genocide in Rwanda arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 2pm.

President Kagame will grace celebrations to mark Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s 48th birthday celebrations.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni have organised a dinner at State House to celebrate Muhoozi’s 48th birthday.

President Kagame was received at the Airport by Uganda’s Security Minister Maj Gen Jim Muhwezi, H.E. Col Joseph Rutabana – the High Commissioner of Rwanda in Uganda, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Ms Anne Katusiime, the Charge d’Affaires at Uganda’s High Commission in Kigali.

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has widely been lauded for his role in restoring Uganda – Rwanda historic ties.
