Liverpool has won the FA Cup final after defeating Chelsea in a penalty shootout at Wembley.
The Reds lifted the FA Cup trophy for the eighth time in the club’s history at the national stadium on Saturday afternoon, as Jürgen Klopp’s men earned a second piece of silverware this season.
Liverpool overcame the Blues in the competition’s showpiece in a frantic match in the capital that resulted in a penalty shootout, adding to the Carabao Cup earned against Thomas Tuchel’s squad back in February.
Kostas Tsimikas stepped up to score the decisive spot-kick after 120 minutes of action to hand the Reds the trophy and a 6-5 win in the shootout.
