The Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, and Jovia Mutesi, have Saturday exchanged marriage vows.

The highly publicised royal wedding took place at Christ’s Cathedral Bugembe in Jinja City.

Following today’s ceremony, Isebantu (the father of the people) Nadiope and Inhebantu (the mother of the people) Mutesi have officially become husband and wife.

Media reports quoted Dr. Joseph Muvawala, the Prime Minister (Katuukiro) of the Busoga Kingdom, saying over 2,500 guests had been invited.
