H.E. Roman Golovchenko, the Prime Minister of Belarus, embarked on an exciting visit to the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre (UWEC) in Entebbe—a premier destination for immersive wildlife experiences.
The Prime Minister was warmly welcomed and guided by Chief Warden, David Musingo.

Nestled along the scenic shores of Lake Victoria, UWEC, which is popularly known as Entebbe Zoo, offers visitors a unique opportunity to encounter Uganda’s incredible biodiversity up close.

From majestic lions and towering giraffes to playful chimpanzees, the centre serves as both a sanctuary for rescued wildlife and a hub for conservation education.

Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a family seeking an unforgettable adventure, or a traveller looking to connect with Uganda’s natural heritage, UWEC promises an enriching experience.
Prime Minister Golovchenko was impressed by the diverse range of species. He explored the behind-the-scenes experiences featuring elephants, tigers, lions, rhinos, chimpanzees and giraffes.

While in the field, the Premier showed a keen interest in reptiles, including snakes and crocodiles, which weren’t on his original itinerary.
