An unknown number of people are reported injured in an accident that occurred along Kampala-Entebbe Expressway involving two motor vehicles.
Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) Media Relations Manager, Allan Ssempebwa, said the incident happened today (Saturday) morning.
“No fatalities,” Ssempebwa clarified. It is not clear how exactly the accident happened.
He said their rescue teams led by Contractor Egis deployed an ambulance to move the injured to receive needed medical attention.
“Traffic flow back to normal!”
ASP Faridah Nampiima, PRO Police Traffic Directorate, told SoftPower News she has not yet received a report on the incident.
When contacted, the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway agent directed us to the Public Relations Officer but there has been no response to our inquiries.
