At least 17 people died in a motor accident which happened on Saturday in Pakwach district, Police has said.
According to Police, the deadly incident happened along Panymur road at 8:30pm when a truck carrying market vendors lost control on a slope and overturned killing 17 on spot and injuring 10 others.
The injured people and bodies of the dead are currently at Arua hospital in West Nile.
On December 18, at least twenty people also perished in another motor accident that occurred at Towei hill in Sipi town council, Kapchorwa district.
