Over 70 exhibitors are set to participate in the much-anticipated 3rd Edition of the Baby and Kids Expo East Africa, organised by Kiara Events Limited and slated for May 9–11, 2025, at the UMA Multipurpose Hall in Lugogo.
Held under the theme “Strengthening Families Through Healthcare, Growth, and Zero Violence,” this year’s Expo promises to be the biggest yet, with over 70 exhibitors showcasing products and services aimed at promoting children’s health, family well-being, and positive parenting.
The briefing, led by Kiara Events Managing Director Joweria Nabuuma, set the tone for what she described as “an extraordinary event.” “The Baby and Kids Expo is more than a marketplace — it’s a movement for healthier, safer, and more empowered families,” she said.
“With over 70 exhibitors, engaging discussions, and unforgettable children’s activities, we’re looking forward to making this year’s edition the most impactful yet.”

Highlights of the 2025 Expo will include expert-led sessions on pressing family matters such as: understanding Autism: From Diagnosis to Lifelong Support, specialist Care for Newborns and Children with Dr. Dan Tumwine, instilling Values in Children by Sheikh Kiti, ending Violence Against Children and the Role of Real Fathers by the Ministry of Gender and living and Leading as an Intentional Mom by keynote speaker Lisa Kusiima.
The Expo will also offer extensive entertainment and educational activities for children, including gymnastics and dance showcases, kids’ fashion shows, face painting, storytelling, music performances, and art workshops — all in a safe and engaging space.
Returning exhibitor Diana Kajumba, Director of Kids Nook, expressed her excitement: “The Expo is always a highlight for us. We’re excited to meet families, share new products, and deliver a memorable experience. We’re preparing exciting discounts and live demos that will truly add value to every visitor’s journey.”

The event is backed by a robust lineup of partners and sponsors including the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Kids Nook, Verina’s Play House, Uzazi Hub, Nation Media Group, Star Kids Club, Baby Junior, The Cradle, Capital One Group, Autie Jovita Children’s Foundation, ENP Finance and Accounting Services, and PHOS Creative Ventures.
In her closing remarks, Nabuuma called on exhibitors to think beyond sales: “You are not just showcasing your brands — you are offering hope and empowerment to thousands of families. Let’s make this Expo a space of learning, joy, and meaningful connection.”
The Baby and Kids Expo 2025 promises to deliver not only products and services but also impactful conversations and memories that will resonate with families long after the doors close.
